Our Grounds

Footprints cremation rock areaSoutheastern Memorial Gardens Cemetery is situated on approximately 15 acres and is distinguished by beautiful, well-maintained grounds and spotted with mature flowering trees.

As you enter through the stone pillars, your eyes are quickly drawn to the Reflecting Pool, with four majestic weeping willow trees dipping in the water and ducks swimming by. As you lift your eyes, you’ll see our mausoleums and feel the peace and serenity as the gentle Carolina breeze blows through the gardens. Many families come to meditate while enjoying the beauty of the Reflecting Pool; while others just enjoy the trees, flowers, playful squirrels, and birds singing among the trees.

Praying HandsMany visitors comment on our two mausoleums. The Shrine of Good Shepherd features a customized stained glass window. With its all glass entrance the Chapel of Remembrance overlooks a large pond lined with beautiful weeping willow trees.

Southeastern Memorial Gardens offers many special features, such as our “Praying Hands” Columbarium, “Footprints” Cremation Rock area, “The Lord’s Prayer” Memorial Garden and other gardens dedicated to veterans and infants. We also have a garden for your “Beloved” pets.
